Dolphins are often seen in the Swan River behind About Bike Hire. Kayak and bike hirers alike are encouraged to report sightings to Dolphin Watch. This will assist the River Guardians program to protect this most beautiful Perth resident. Sightings of the new dolphin calf born just 3 weeks ago would be particularly important. 

Following frequent requests, About Bike Hire is now able to repair and service your personal bikes, not just our own.

We offer the unique service of providing a replacement bike at a reduced price whilst your own is being serviced. A pickup and delivery service is also available within 10 kms of the Perth CBD. Servicing of your bike can cost as little as $65 including a wash. Spare parts are an additional cost.

We are pleased to support many Perth cycle events, especially those that support a charity, however this sometimes makes it difficult (but not impossible) to pick up your bike, quadcycle or kayak. Please approach from the Causeway end of Riverside Drive, using the Graham Farmer Fwy access onto Great Eastern Highway if approaching from the West of Perth.

For the keen road bike or triathlon cyclists,  quality road bikes are maintained to race standards in all sizes.

Esther from Byron Bay has prepared a beaut Blog which she has generously shared with us.

The photo's are stunning and her experiences working in the tourism industry have resulted in an easy-to-read Blog that makes you feel every bump on the Trail, as well as sampling the great experiences to be had. Our Giant Yukon bikes and BOB trailers have once again proved to be up to the challenge! 

We had a very enjoyable trip and it was made more memorable by people like yourselves (Dave, Jan and Liam) who showed us the true Aussie spirit. The Bicycle ride down the Swan River was a triple A+. We will remember Perth for that.
