About Bike Hire specializes in providing equipment for Self-Guided tours.

Cycling maps are available of most areas and advice is free!

Experience Perth and beyond on an extensive network of dedicated cycling paths!

Prepare for a successful ride  

Free locks, carrybag, pump, puncture kit, tyre levers, maps and tools are available.

Accessories for hire include pannier bags, lights and bike racks for cars.

For the serious rider there is a selection of bike frame sizes and special pedals for off road mountain bikes and road/racing bikes. Please consider bringing your own pedals and shoes, saddle and even helmet for longer term hires to add to your enjoyment.

Note: Wearing of helmets is compulsory in Western Australia.

    Beautiful Black Swans on the scenic Swan River

    1 Hour, 10km
    Easy ride on flat terrain on Cycle paths around the Swan River, including Swan Bells and beautiful views of city from South Perth.
  2. Perth, East Perth and The Burswood Ride

    1.5 hours, 16km
    This is an extension of the Perth Bridges ride incorporating the new East Perth Development and beautiful Burswood Lakes with plentiful bird life.
  3. Perth and Kings Park Ride

    16 - 25km
    Explore an icon of Western Australia by bike.  There is an abundance of cycle paths meandering through natural Australian bush land. 
  4. Scenic Swan River

    ~2.5 hours, 25km one way Perth to Fremantle
    Explore Fremantle.  Option to train or ferry (with the bike) back to Perth Station and ride the short distance to the bike hire.  A fabulous day tour.
  5. City to the Sea Beach Rides

    Follow the Swan River upstream to the historic town of Guildford, near the Swan Valley wine region.  Train line nearby.
  7. Mandurah Explorer

    Catch the train to Mandurah (45 mins) and explore the Peel region by bike.
  8. Canning River Ride

    50km one way (full length)
    Explorer the Canning River region including Masons Landing, Shelley, Deep Water Point, Gosnells Railway Markets and through to Armadale. Train line nearby.

  1. Munda Biddi Mountain Bike Trail

    900km to Albany (Stage 1 and 2 completed 500km)
    Network of bush and railway tracks to link bikers with many charming towns in the south-west. Sheltered campsites available or accommodation in towns. See the Munda Biddi website.  "Munda Biddi Trail Package" available (see hire rates).
  2. John Forrest National Park

    25km one way, 40km full circuit.
    A wonderful offroad ride along the disused railway embankments up to 40km for the full circuit.  Train from Perth to Midland (with the bike) and ride the bus/nature trail. Lunch, kangaroos and birds at the John Forrest Tavern. Return to Perth by train or ride.
