About Bike Hire supports many different causes and have given them recognition with the following discounts:

Disabled Clients:  Bikes: $7 one hour; $10 two hours. Carers free.

Disabled Clients:  Quads (Weekdays): $8 one hour; $14 two hours; Carers free.   (Weekends+Public Holidays): $13.50 one hour; $22 two hours; Carers free.

Disabled Clients:  Kayaks: Doubles at half price, carer free in single.

Career Musicians:  25% off all hires

Aircrew: 25% off hires of up to one week in length

Hotel Front Office Staff and Concierges: Free hire for first hour

School Groups: Hybrid Bikes $7 per head; one staff free

Seniors: 15% on all hires 

Large Groups: 10-15 people 10%;  16-19 people 15%;  20-29 people 20%;  30+ people 25%

About Bike Hire has long given discounted hires to people it considers particularly important. As a business largely staffed and managed by musicians, we are particularly keen to support visiting artists and musicians.

Several of our staff members have ultimately become renowned musicians themselves and more are in the pipeline! As scary as it may seem, at one time we boasted 3 trumpets, 1 vocalist, 1 cellist, 1 pianist and 2 guitarists amongst just 9 staff. 

During our recent history, members of the Berlin Philharmonic, Westside Story orchestra and many renowned musicians from around the world have enjoyed getting around on our bikes and kayaks. We are pleased to be able to support our musical peers and watch them perform too.
